Small Button Frame

Colour Box 1

To refine the child's visual perception of colour.

Sound Cylinders
Two wooden boxes with one lid in red and the other in blue. Each box contains 6 identical hollow wooden cylinders filled with different objects so that, when shaken, they each emit a different sound.
To refine the child's auditory sense and memory. It also provide experiences in matching and grading.

Touch tablets
A wooden box containing 4 pairs of wooden tablets with different grades of sandpaper mounted on it.
To refine the child's tactile senses and also indirect preparation for sandpaper letters.

Touch Board 1 & 2
Touch Board 1 - A wooden board divided into two halves - one half has a smooth surface and the other half is covered with sandpaper. Touch Board 2 - A wooden board with four strips of sandpaper of increasing coarseness.
To stimulate the child's interest in texture in the environment. It is also an indirect preparation for sandpaper letters.

Touch Fabric
A wooden box containing 8 matching swatches of a selection of different fabrics - tetron cotton, satin, silk, velvet, ...etc.
To further stimulate the child's interest in texture in the environment, particularly of different fabrics.

Geometric Cabinet -complete set
Complete set of geometric cabinet, demonstration tray and wooden shelf with form cards. The wooden cabinet contains 6 trays of 4 to 6 different acrylic geometrical shapes knobbed insets. The wooden shelf contain the 3 sets of Geometric cards. The Geometric demonstration tray consists of 3 blank wooden squares and 3 basic geometrical shapes and frames.

To stimulate the child's interest and awareness in differences in weight.

Thermic Tablets
A wooden box divided into 4 sections containing two tablets each made of felt, wood, steel and slate.
To develop the child's awareness of the difference in the temperature 'feel' of different thermal conductivity of materials in the environment.

Binomial Cube
A wooden box with a removable lid and two folding sides containing 8 wooden coloured blocks inside.
To provide the child with tangible experience of the way in which the cube can be divided and sub-divided. It also lay the foundations for the later study of algebra.

Trinomial Cube
A wooden box with a removable lid and two folding sides with 18 coloured wooden blocks inside.
To provide the child with tangible experience of the way in which the cube can be divided and sub-divided. It also lay the foundations for the later study of algebra.

Constructive Triangles
5 wooden boxes containing wooden triangles of different size, shape and colour.
To experiement with the various size and shapes to discover the various ways these shapes can be divided and combined to form other shapes.

Blue Constructive Triangle
This wooden box of Constructive blue triangles contains 12 right-angled scalene triangles.
This is used to explore equivalency, congruency and similarity.

Thermic Bottles
This wooden box with compartments holds 8 stainless steel bottle with screw-on tops.
The teacher prepares the exercise by filling the bottles with water of various temperature. The exercise of pairing and grading the thermic bottles helps refine the thermic senses.

Wooden nature puzzles with knobs of a tree, frog, boy, snail, turtle, fish, bee, bird, cow and flower.

Mathematics

Small Number Rods
The number rods are made of wood and painted in stripes of red and blue. Comes in a set of 2 placed in a wooden box.
Similar to the Large Number Rods. But, this small number rods that comes in set of 2 is used for addition and subtraction.

Large Number Rods
The number rods are made of wood and painted in stripes of red and blue. The 10 rods vary in length from 10 cm. to 1 m.
To introduce the child to fix quantity and counting 1 - 10. This also brings awareness to the sequence of numbers and the quantitative relationship between numbers.

Sandpaper numerals
Cut out numerals 1-10, mounted on green woodboard in a wooden box.
To teach the child the written symbol for numbers 1 - 10.

A wooden self-standing frame with four rows of colour-coded beads for the decimal system exercises.

Large Moveable Alphabet
This wooden box contains 'cut out' alphabets in acrylic. There are 10 of each vowel in blue, 5 of each consonant in red.
To get familiar with the letters and their sound for future exercises in composing words.

2 sets Small Moveable Alphabets
2 sets of Small Moveable Alphabets c/w wooden boxes - one in yellow and the other in green 'cut out' of acrylic. There are 7 pcs of each alphabets in each box.
To build words containing a phonogram and to assist in the recognition of letter patterns in words. This will help develop spelling skills.
